1.1. Exam

There are two SCTs in week 9 and 15. They have a particular pattern of questions; the number of answer out of four choices can be 1, 2, or 3.
If you are over 60% in average, you'll get an offered grade and excellent grade is from 85%. If you do not accept the offered grade or below 60%, you'll have to take final exam.
Final exam is an oral exam and you'll pick one theoretical topic and one practical topic. You'd better finish it within semester.

1.2. Strategy

If you want to comprehend, the most prefered way is to read lecture slides and practice booklet. In fact, you'll pass only with the past papers.1 For notes, there are Avi Sayag note and an unnamed short note. In case of Avi note, there are too much information and consist of only words so it's not very delightful to read, and the short note, there are missing information somewhere. Slide is better than notes!2

1.3. Tricks

It's a clinical medicine. You require not only memorization but also application ability and reasoning power. By the time you prepare for exam, you'll be busy memorizing stuff so try to comprehend during class. If you are studying for exam, there are lots of information that you already have learned from biochemistry and physiology so move on from those and learn to apply clinically.
In the final exam of second semester, there are minimals. This part is exempted if you are over 70% in average on 5 SCT, which includes 2 of first semester! So don't run over just because you are in pass-level, and get a good score.

1.4. Summary

An important subject, but is easy. Study well so that not to bring it to finals.
According to a story from a graduate, this subject is the base of all internal medicine. Actually, various markers and the levels of them are written in internal medicine files, so it might be true.

Written exams are on week 6 & 13 and may vary among groups. Practical exam is on 14th week and may also vary.
Interestingly, there are compulsory lectures; 2, 3, 4, 5, 7th. If you miss them, you'll get extra topics on final exam from that particular lecture.3
Moreover, if you are present 12 lectures or more, you will get bonus which can be used as,

You pick 3 topics from final oral exam. Total number of topics are around 80 and students tend to finish it in the first week of final exam periods. Reading the whole note for 2 or 3 times may enough. Beware for the missing topic.

2.2. Strategy

You can buy the official textbook written by the department. A bit bigger than a hand and thick, resembling a brick.difficult to turn the page The textbook contains merely pictures and brief summary so you need to write additional information from lectures. If you have a look, you can find multiple names of people who invented tools or years of first-done transplant surgery and they actually ask those questions in oral exams! Jesus If you are not a lecture person, you can read note which is considered approximately, "textbook+lecture writing=note". So everyone just read notes when it comes to finals.
In practice, you learn name of the tools, shape of the needles, and suture techiques, try to memorize. It will automatically remain in your brain due to repetition. Or memorize it all in one day. Not too much, so can do.

2.3. Tricks

Learn a lot from the practice. Go to lecture for bonus. But it starts at 8am. and is farther than Augusta. Those who live outside Good luck
They offer improvement for written exam usually a week after the original one, so make sure you get all 5 from them. Find and call easy teacher at practical exam. The middle aged lady without glasses is nice. The guy is also nice. Beware Anita
Of course you can take exam from your group teacher unlike anatomy. It won't matter.

It is important to get good score from first and second exam because you'll be drowning from hell of a lot of exams by the time you take third exams and moreover, it is difficult!5
If you study immunology firmly, you can cover some topics of pathology and half of the internal medicine in the second semester! Since immunology is involved in USMLE, spend your time and study thoroughly.
Also, there is no past papers! The department renewed 3 years ago so the previous papers are no use.

Autopsy is on week 9 and week 15 however, only week 15 counts as the real exam.
Histology is on week 13. There are 3 sections and exam consists of multiple choice questions. It's not so difficult so that even you don't know the section you can even figure out by reading questions and choices. In case of minimals, you can surely get around 90% if you cover two times the 600minimals dispensed from the department.1200 minimals in second semester
The passing limit of minimals and Histology need description

In fact, not getting exemption during semester is not a big problem. However since it is annoying busy to cover topics during finals and you'll be stressed, try to finish them within semester.7

In the Theory, you pick 2 topics.8 Be sure to cover all the topic because the arrangement of topics is unknown. The examiners are Gabor(head of the department), Tibor, Nemesi. and Prof. Molnar. All of them have characteristics to ask your seniors how was their exams.

4.2. Strategy

The recommended way of studying is to read Robbins textbook. It is 'the Formula' and contains lots of things to read, however still is the best. Read the first page of the chapter and build a skeleton before you read. Even in USMLE forums, reading Robbins is considered as the basis of studying pathology. it gets interesting if you read more and more. But want to rip it off in the finals If you are not a textbook person, there is an alternative; Pathoma. You can think of Yair Meiry because it is similar. You can buy Pathoma textbook from amazon or print it by yourself.350pages? Don't waste your time doing this and that, choose one thing that suits you and focus on it.

There are notes. The popular one is Noa note. The Noa note is basically summarized version of Robbins, so use it as review or a method to cover your least favorite topics.

Lectures show low ratings(…) but when you need moral education, feel free to visit Prof. Molnar's lecture. Tells you the mind as a doctor, and reasons why you study. and of course lecture material is on your own

4.3. Tricks

You won't have so much trouble during semester but should study the topics. The maximal period of studying in final shall be 5 weeks but still is not enough.
During semester, focus on immunology but don't forget pathology.
You won't have so much time to study the first semester topic in the second semester final, so study firmly.

Sketchy Micro. it uses association through picture, for example,

In case of catalase positive bacterium. → Draw a Cat.

Gram positivity shows purple color. → Color background with purple color.

It might take times in the first time but gets easier with repetition.
Going to lecture is also a good option because lecturers teach you to connect things.
Since there are lots of things in common within a given species, study microorganisms together within that group.11

6.4. Summary

Don't discard Microbiology I. Like clinical biochemistry, there is minimal exam which can be exempted in finals of second semester. Unlike clinical biochemistry, the score of first semester does not included however, material itself is fully included. So basically we can say that, it is included.

7. Basic oncology
